Light of Rejuvenation
When the Reefs fell, Pearl wept. She wandered the coral graveyards for days and cried until her own life nearly faded along with them.
Grief that deep does not stay grief. Through concentrated emotion she made one of the first sentient beings, a consciousness trapped inside a pearl, and passed its essence into the dead coral. The Reefs woke.
She understood, after, that balance needed Shadow as much as it needed Light. So she planted what remained of the pearl where Shadow would find it, and let go. Now she hides inside a clam and tends the Reefs she raised, waiting for a brighter future she may never see finished.
